Well, I just got my other song demo back, sung by the same girl. It's not what I expected

What I sent to the guy at the studio was more of a 60s R&B groove, really a Muscle Shoals type thing. I even used a Bossa Nova rhythm on mine.
What I got back is pure 80s Country. I love it, but it's a surprise.
going to add a steel guitar over the next couple of weeks, but I'm going to pitch it some like it is for now. Here's the Soundcloud link:
