What do people see in this guy....i never liked JOURNEY either...

Uh no.....and if I had time and felt the need I'd show you how incorrect you are on paper. Regardless of whether you "like" Journey or not, very few of their songs sounded alike. Different keys, different chord structure. The one thing that did sound the same were the harmony arrangements in regards to which band member sang what part.

People like to focus on Steves range but he has phenomenal tone. And you can still hear it. Not a great song though.

Glad Steve is back but that song is horrible. If that's the best of the lot, then I don't want to hear the rest.

They could have different buses and literally see each other 2 hours a day 2-3/week and name their price. Neal would find a way.
The issue is Steve’s voice holding up over 2 hours a night, night after night. The years have taken their toll on it.

Meh. Kid works stupidly hard. You would need him to back up Perry and basically cover at least half the workload on the road, anyway.
It's not like they're putting out new albums every other year. That's not the business model - the business model is touring.

Well, I'm thinking that's the studio version of that song, and Steve's lipsyncing for the video. Which means that's as good as the studio could make his voice sound.
Perry had one of the most iconic voices of the late 70s-mid 80s.
I think he waited too long to try to make a comeback.
