My brother-in-law and I are working on a virtual super group. The band will be a four piece. Here's what we have chosen so far:
Randy Rhoads, guitar
Flea, bass
Stewart Copeland, drums
Who do you think should be our lead singer?

And to think I bragged to my brother-in-law about the breadth of knowledge on this site. Now we're like a bad facebook thread.
I think we are going to go with Bradley Delp. I think the idea of a virtual group is a fun one, and could have its own thread if taken seriously.

ddbnsb,
Does the inclusion of Rhoades force us toward a metal singer? Flea and Copeland seem so versatile, but we were hoping that with Rhoades' classical training, he would branch out. I was also thinking about Thom Yorke.

I just like the versatility of Paul Rodgers and Chris Cornell. Plus, they both fronted supergroups.

I don't think so - and I don't think he is a bad choice. However, I would consider the option of adding a second guitarist, either not quite as well known (I'm thinking Austin's Eric Johnson), a non-traditional choice (Heart's Nancy Wilson or even Glenn Campbell), or just someone who can play anything, with anybody (Def Leppard's Phil Collen, Mick Taylor or similar), just to make sure you can cover a broader range of material without question.
ETA: Or even a Keith Richards or Scotty Moore type versatile guy - a throwback.

+1
Put him in most bands, and it's an upgrade.
