Ironically, Chelsea's once shut down Two Cow Garage for being too loud (old location)...

yeah, they are pretty loud too. sounded great at the manship theatre 3 years ago though.

I thought they sounded fine that night... Guess Dave wasn't in the mood..

Hard to imagine a venue kicking a band offstage over volume issues
Posted on 10/24/13 at 5:22 pm to rehtaeh
Then you have a severely limited imagination... I've seen it happen...

@ anyone thinking this is real. Nothing but a publicity stunt, and a pretty crappy one at that.
it is very much real. Tell us about your musical experiences of playing music.

yep
and lee bains and co. were opening for the alabama shakes too
no one complained about them going cross country 3 different times.
this particular venue just sounds like it's run by morons.

This comeback got old months ago. You act like you are a touring musician. I doubt you have ever played a gig outside of BR/se LA.

The band sounds like the first sip of a cold beer on a muggy summer evening.
Please.

I didn't say that!
Kind of cheesey but that's not the bands fault so..

Sounds like the venue needs to research the bands they book beforehand. I'm seeing these guys in two weeks and I can guarantee nobody in Kentucky will be asking them to turn it down.

Amen. Kentucky ain't afraid of no guitar.

The Venue tried to pass blame onto the booking agency that booked the show on Facebook.
Also said that Austin Lucas was "deeply shaken by the evening's events"
On twitter, they claimed that Lee told the owner and sound engineer to "shut the frick up and get the frick off the stage"
Everyone who was at the show has said that the exact opposite happened and the venue's owners were disrespectful.

The fact that Austin loaded up his bands gear and didn't play on their stage tells me all I need to know. Neither band will ever play that venue again, rest assured.

Really? What a pussy
There are way worse things that can happen in life. Reality, bro.

Who are you to call anyone a pussy?
And that's what the venue said. They've lied about all kinds of stuff with this incident.
Austin just thought the whole thing was bullshite how the sound tech and the owner treated everyone. Especially breaking contract.
And why in the world was that show $15?
From someone that was there, there were friends of the owners in the next room that complained about the "noise" during their sound check and didn't want to be bothered by the band playing music. Mind you, this show was booked by a promoter that no longer was working with them but they kept this show on the books.
