Did anyone make it to this show on Saturday? Been hoping to check them out for awhile but couldn't make the show.

Love Typhoon but their live performances are so-so to me because there are so many moving parts to the band. I've seen the same with all of these massive bands (Oh Hellos). They're very good just hard to get all of that timing and those layers right.

You must have caught them on an off night. I've seen them about 5 times and they have been spot on every time. They sound much better live than on their recordings, but their latest effort was produced a lot better and gets them closer.

Seen them a couple of times, but not in the best of settings, admittedly. One good thing about the genre (if you can call it that) is the live performances. I wouldn't call them bad performances, they just don't exceed the recordings IMO, unlike most of the other bands they'd be lumped in with.
