This makes me a little sad, even though it looks like they might keep some of the same regular acts.

Ugh BAD MOVE

Guess it is super hard to maintain venues when the city squeezed them to death and touring bands were sitting at home.

Feels like the two NOLAxNOLA weeks put a spark in it. Hope it keeps up.

Toulouse theater won’t book the same level of psych/indie acts that OEJ used to book. Makes me sad but also thankful for all the great shows I saw at OEJ.

Hope they exceed my expectations but im not too optimistic.

He has several booked at southport music hall , gasa gasa and dba. He booked quintron and iceman special at toulouse theater so hopefully that means he’ll continue to bring talent to that venue.

Looks like OEJ will still book shows there, as well as Winter Circle. I'd think they will.

Ben jaffe is the owner, i bet they get good acts to come in.

I like musicians owning local clubs.

I now also see Paulina from the Maple Leaf is now over there too. Looks like the in-house booker. Looking forward to that calendar filling out.

It's becoming more common with this. Who else beyond Benji Lee, Pepper Keenan, Kermit and Galactic now?
