Top 5 Pantera

Dime and Vinny Paul taken too soon ...the band had a nasty break up but still today i listen to Pantera reguarly...heres my 5 top STUDIO albums:
5. Power Metal -their first release . more glammy but still a hidden gem
4.The Great Southern Trendkill--Sludgy .Killer riffs
3. Cowboys from Hell
2.Vulgar Display of Power
1.Far Beyond Driven --a metal masterpiece
left off Reinventing The Steel but that is a real close #6 for me . Still like it alot as well .Too bad this band wasnt around even longer

Vulgar is their overall best but over the years my favorite one to listen to has evolved into Reinventing the Steel.

I just discovered Pantera this morning. Hoping to listen to these albums by next Sunday.

Once you've blown through Pantera, check out Phil's next best band and GOAT metal supergroup, Down (particularly the NOLA album).

Just discovered Pantera?
Damn I'm jealous. I love my history with music but damn I wish there was a band with that greatness I could stumble upon.

I also suggest listening to Down after you listen to Pantera and while your at the 1st Superjoint Ritual Album will rip your face off too
