This is the one show I hate myself for not being at most. The first time Clapton played with The Allman Brothers since the Duane sessions with Derek and the Dominos. After Dreams, they rip into a Dominos set that is just unreal.

Just imagine if Robert Johnson had a an electic guitar and wah wah pedal!!

Also...Jimmy Page could easily be in the group of contemporary blues players already listed here but the nod go to the "old blues masters" that the Clapton's, Hendrix and Page's were influenced by.

To me , they are 2 categories" old (acoustic) and new (electrified) school.
