Exactly what me and my wife said about them. Just a shitty mixture of NIN and rammstein.

You are either into Industrial or you are not.

I am into industrial, but that is not a good industrial band. They have the sound right, but there was nothing creative about them at all.

Understood. I am not trying to defend them... I just dont think it was as bad as people say.
Seems like they are cutting their teeth.. pun intended. They only have one album out...

I agree. I could listen to them if their music was on, but there is nothing about them that's good. They're just a run of the mill industrial metal band.
If you don't like industrial, you will hate it. If you like it, you will tolerate it.

Was the song I wanted to hear the most... very filthy. Loved the Justin and Danny jam with Primus at the end. SO BAD arse

i would have probably been more apt to tolerate if i had the impression they were at least working hard at it.
is the commentary that the drummer was completely piped in, and not even trying to make a show of his part wrong, for instance?

I wanted to hear John the Fisherman. I was bummed they didn't play it. But Les Claypool is an animal on the bass.

I just want to reiterate how awesome that link is. It sounds like it could be an official live recording.
I used be a taper back in 2001-2004, this guy taping this used amazing equipment.

is it a tape? If so, it's an amazing pull. I see that youtube channel has a bunch of IEMs too

it's not a "tape" but the act of bootleg recording concerts is widely known as "taping".
This guy I know name AdamL is the best taper I've known. He's from BR and is a huge TOOL fan. It wouldn't surprise me if he is the taper here.
Back when I taped shows they were on MiniDisc recorders with some amazing binaural mics. With a bass roll off powered box (using 9v battery and frequency switches) This would produce amazing results.
These days it's moved towards DAT recorders rather than minidisc, which would actually make it techically a "tape" but encoding it digitally. (much like the miniDV video cameras years ago)
