I really didn't know who Lady Gaga was until I watched the one hour special with her & Tony. Hell of a performance by both.

You’re going to get DV’ed for saying you don’t who she is. Like her music or not, she’s extremely talented.
And it’s rather amazing he can still preform with Alzheimer’s.

Yes, great concert--Gaga is amazingly talented on piano and vocals, and Bennett can still entertain. If you appreciate his style go back to his classic recordings and you get a real feel for his voice.
My Dad went through this...he was a trained baritone. In the later stages of the disease where he wasn't talking anymore he was still trying to sing. There's a great documentary on Glenn Campbell where he was still touring in the early stages of Alzheimer's.

60 Minutes or CBS Sunday morning did a piece a few weeks ago on Tony. Talked about how once the music starts he can still sing.
We saw Glen Campbell on his farewell tour, towards the end of the tour. It was tough to watch as my mother in law has dementia so it really hit home when he lost track of what was going on.

Just started watching it.
Lady Gaga is an incredible artist.
Name any pop diva you want, but you have to go back to Linda Ronstadt to find a woman as versatile and talented as Gaga. Jennifer Hudson is probably the only “pop” singer who could share the stage with Lady Gaga and be considered an equal.

I know who she is. I just didn't know much about her or her music. She's an amazing talent.

Her and Adele are the two best female vocalists on the planet today. Easily.

I went to a Gaga/Bennett show for NYE about 6 or 7 years ago. They have great chemistry and Gaga is as talented as it comes. Really a modern day Madonna when you see her career track and ability to push the envelope.

She can sing circles around Madonna but def copied Madonna for the shock value and change of looks

She fashioned herself more after Dale Bozzio, Cyndi Lauper, and Grace Jones more than Madonna ( at least physically). She certainly studied Madonna‘s rise to fame and how to stay at the top.

We did too and I've never left a show with such mixed feelings watching him tied to his monitors.

That 60 Minutes piece was wild. The human brain is such an amazing thing. To not know who or where you are one second to performing an hour+ long setlist the next is insane.
