I prefer Joe Diffie’s John Deere Green

I first heard it when the songwriter, Bobby Braddock, played it on the Marty Stuart show.

It was a great performance, so I looked up info on Braddock and the song. I had no idea until then that Tracy Lawrence had a hit with it. Don't really care for his version. Braddock on the piano was better.

That simple riff is so good.
Country music back then was great

I grew up in the 90’s and watched CMT all the time, back when they aired videos of all those guys and it was so good instead of now when they show trash all the time.
