Have always liked them and just saw them two weeks ago

To be honest they sounded much better on album than live, but I still really dig their sound.

I have no clue how they are viewed by the music world. Is it wrong to like them? They sound like if Tool and the Deftones had a kid.

No for real though, every time I've seen them live they were great. They always sound heavy live, especially for being a 3 piece band.

As far as the generic radio rock bands go (think Foo fighters) they are the best of the bunch.

Disagree about "best", but very good. "Shameful Metaphors" is one of my favorite songs from the 2000s.

I liked their very first album, but then they just went too 00's alternative for me. Which I consider to be some of the worst music ever recorded.

Let's have a beer. This is exactly how I feel about Chevelle. Their first album was very, very crafty. And then, they became like every other radio friendly rock band in the 00's.

I actually never was a big fan but bought their last two albums and thought they were great. I guess I'm not a really big fan of the 2000's rock bands even though I graduated in 1999. I purchased a bunch of albums in the 2000's like disturbed, breaking Benjamin, and puddle of mud but only listened to the for a short time. Like any time period there are good bands but the most popular stuff I'm not really a fan of.

Their 2nd album was one of the best of the early aughts.

I've only see them live once and thought the same thing. Line the albums and meh to the live show.
