+1.

The worst are the clods who get upset when you step on their blanket. Hey dipshit, don't bring granny's hand knit quilt to lay out on a horse track at a crowded music festival. I'm not about to imitate Mike Powell and attempt a long jump over your blanket occupying significant space.

Ugh, the fricking worst. I absolutely loathe frickheads that are not all the way in the back and want to sit in lawn chairs or on huge blankets. Whenever someone gets pissed at me for stepping on their shite or standing in their view, I just give them the "deal with it" look.

The part that is really frustrating is that they designated the area in front the stage as standing room only, thus no chairs. They enforced this strictly, and I actually liked this part of the idea. However, they let everyone park their chairs on the track, which is meant for us to walk around without having to fight the crowd. How the hell did they not enforce this? Then when you add the price for ticket now ($80 after all the TM fees), it is just not worth going anymore.

Saturday was the worst experience I have had there, and there have been other bad ones. Sting a few years back was one of them, but that doesn't compare to this mess

We got within what felt like a half-mile of Elton John stage 1 hour before showtime and didn't even attempt to go closer.

If you'd come around the rear of Acura through the first gate from the track stage right you wouldn't have any trouble getting very close to the stage. I went in and out before and during Elton with no problems.

On days like that when you know it's going to be packed it is what it is but knowing how to navigate your way around the fairgrounds will save you a ton of frustration.

I think they should charge people extra to bring in chairs or strollers and I think they should have daily tickets with a cap. But I doubt either of those will ever happen.

I can't imagine what it would have been like if they'd gotten the Stones.
