The Walkmen are just so good

Some of you are familiar with them. They’ve been on “hiatus” for awhile now, but Hamilton Leithauser (vox) has done a few solo things. The members seem to still be on good terms but I don’t know any details. At any rate, they had a run of albums that I love, beginning in the early 2000’s. It’s indie guitar rock if you need to know those things before you listen. I’ll be adding more tracks to this thread over time. This live track is from around the middle of their run.

Saw them at One Eyed Jacks. Awesome show.
I think many of them started having kids so that made touring more difficult.

Everything any of them touches is good. Even Walter Martins childrens album is great.

The played a random show in the middle of Tulane’s quad about 10 years ago. Saw the flyer at Stein’s and was like “holy shite that’s in like 20 minutes” and hightailed it over there.
