The Ultimate Guitar paid app is worth it

I got a deal for 20 bucks per year and I feel like it’s already paid for itself. Tons of features, no ads, personalized list of tabs you might like, etc.
I never pay for apps but this one is well worth the money if you like to learn new songs.

It’s definitely worth it for the pro tabs alone. The ability to slow it down and work on a section over and over is a game changer.

My curiosity is piqued, what is a pro tab as opposed to the tabs I find in Google searches?

I bought it a couple years ago and it has greatly improved my guitar playing, simply by being more convenient and easy to use when I want to pick up a guitar and play on the fly.

A pro tab breaks down all the instruments individually, such as lead and rhythm guitar. It also lets you slow down the tempo as it plays the song and you can loop and repeat sections over and over. It’s also almost always 100% accurate.

i'm just using it for the chords and lyrics. underutilizing the app big time but it's kinda all i have time for right now. had it for 3 years.

I got it permanently several years ago for $15 total. I knew at the time it would be a steal.

It’s good, has all the chord diagrams and even has a Simplify feature that I use all the time. It takes away some of the more difficult or obscure chords but the song sounds basically the same.
