My first concert. They opened up for Starship at Six Flags. That entire Play Deep album is great. They’re my favorite 80s band.

You are getting a lot of younger people (teens) that are discovering 80's music and really like it. A lot of it is due to the absence of a clear defining generational music genre for this generation. Then you throw a song on TikTok and they "discover" it and it balloons from there.
Yep, not just 80’s music either. It’s a clear testament and indictment on today’s music in general. Yes, there is good music to be found, but these overstimulated young people don’t have the patience or skill to find it.

Saw them open for Starship at Pensacola Beach Spring Break 1986. They were amazing!
Yes! I was there with my boyfriend and his best friend. We drove over from Navarre in a convertible. One of the worst sunburns I ever had, but it was worth it for that show.

Blasting the cassette in ‘86 out of some Stillwater Kickers while waiting on the ferry to Port A.

I saw them opening for Starship (yuck, We Built This City) in the mid 80’s at Lakefront Arena. Buddy of mine won tickets from one of the radio stations or some such last minute deal.
