did either Maceo or GPJr ever show up at the Royal Family Ball? I left well before it was over and was curious.

Maceo was on for most of the end of soulive and the beginning of lettuce.
He was awesome, I had work the next day and left a few songs into lettuce so I never saw GPJ. Heard Lettuce rocked it out as usual though.

damn, I hate I missed those two. I was out of gas.
3am the previous night at the leaf and all day in the sun did me in.

That was just the beginning for a tough marathon for me.
I went SCI, and then RFB until 2, had work the next day and then went to Mule who ended at 3, had to roll around town and went to the casino with some friends sat in the afternoon and then the dead feat show and the fest sunday. I hadn't been so worn out in quite a while.

I hate I missed that Mule show. arghhh
The Karl Denson/Robert Walters Publiq show was great fun but it wasn't the mule with 35 special guests. Those discs rock.

Anders Osborne

Howlin' Wolf - New Orleans,LA
LINK
Echoes of My Sins
Black Tar
Marmalade
Burning on the Inside
Highway
Jetstream->
Aim It Way High
Let It Go
Got Your Heart
On the Road to Charlie Parker*
Down by the River#
*ft. Mike Gordon (Phish) on electric piano
#Neil Young & Crazy Horse cover
note- missing "Pleasin You"
While the performance itself is top-notch, the sound quality is OK. Tomorrow I can up the 5.1.14 Tips show that is much better sounding.

Billy Iuso covers it. The original is done by some random singer songwriter. I love it.

Yall seen any postings for any of the Royal family Ball? I'd like to hear the Lettuce stuff since I had to leave early.
Posted on 5/15/14 at 9:51 pm to CheeseburgerEddie
Yeah I have that. Let me check. I haven't re-listened because Lettuce doesn't really hold up on tape IMO.
