The best dancing I saw last weekend was definitely at the Charlie Wilson show.

Mike dillon said in an interview with jambase recenty that skerik wasnt in garage a trois anymore, by his own choice. Not sure if true.

I'd honestly rather see them without Skreik. That horn gets old after a while.

Best show ive seen them play was on a riverboat, 5-6 years ago and they called it garage a medeski. This is pre marco, when charlie hunter was in the band. Charlie couldnt make it so medeski sat in. Good times.

its safe to agree that the thread title can remove "Phish takes over NOLA"

No
People can debate about the quality of the show, but Jazz Fest 2014 will be remembered as when Phish finally came back to NOLA.

He's so terrible that he's playing pretty much every night

I have seen him 10+ times and he just doesn't do it for me. I like all his bands (Soulive, Lettuce, Dr Klaw, et al) but have never seen him nail a sweet solo and steal the show. He is good at riffs I guess but doesn't stand out.
You could say the same thing about Ian Neville, although I did see him rip a good solo on War Pigs with Dastardly Bastards on Wed.
