I didnt even bother looking at tickets because I figured they would be ridiculous.

I wish some more shows would be announced for the 2nd weekend though, its pretty weak so far imo.

I'd pay $215

A. Grace Potter sings me to sleep. No touching just a tasteful stage in the corner of my room. Small piano and acoustic guitar.

B. If they could get any or a couple of the guys who played at the show who are alive to come back. Clapton, Dylan, a Staple singer (if any are left), and I guess Robbie Robertson can play one if he only plays guitar.

I meant guests who jammed with them.

Clapton.
Dylan.
Staples Singers? I admit I do NOT know if any of those are alive.

The only member of The Band left is Robertson? Is that correct?

Garth Hudson of The Band is still with us. Also, Mavis Staples is still alive and touring.
The Last Waltz is kinda played out in terms of a live event. Plus, that pricing is waayy too high.

I went to the movie when it was first released- couple of elderly women walked in the theatre, which I thought was odd. Once Robertson spouted the line about more p&$$y than Frank Sinatra, they left.

Exactly. Went to it a few year ago (maybe 2017?) with a lot of the same line up. Been there, done that. Rather see something else that same night.

Garth is 84, broke and confined to a nursing home in upstate NY. Pretty much penniless and forgotten

Meanwhile robbie Robertson is still out there pimping the band’s legacy. It’s pretty vile

As much as i love martin scorsese and Robbie Robertson work, The Band documentary they did is one of the most disgusting self-serving things Ive ever witnessed.

It was hacky as hell to piss on Levon's grave the way they did

So sad. The Band has always held a special place in this old heart. It Makes No Difference is one of my favorite songs ever. Tragic circumstances around so many members. +RR being such an arse.

Hudson has had a tough life. He was performing in a duo, with his wife, but she died over a year ago, and his health really declined after that. He now lives in an assisted living facility due to his physical condition. Reportedly, his mental condition is fine.

Garth returns to Big Pink

Video of ol Garth returning to Big Pink, couldn't help but get emotional watching him go through everything he went through during that time.

I had no idea he was in assisted living now, he's a legend.

And the Staples didn't play in the actual show. That's just them in the film (effectively a music video).

Mavis is still alive for those wondering. She just did an album with someone and is up for a Grammy, so it appears she is still active at 82.

Robbie Robertson makes Don Henley and Glenn Frey look like good people.
