I think I am gonna go to the Hattiesburg show. It's a tiny place and it's at like 6:30 in the morning.

Me too... Anyone want to pre-drink at the Chimes?

It's nice that I-12 will be a straight shot in for them with little to no risk of overturned 18-wheelers (that time of day usually isn't a problem anyway). However, I'm concerned with them being able to get through I-10 traffic on the way to New Orleans. Hope they make it with enough time to spare.

Couldn't they get a police escort?

I'll be at the show. I can't wait. I actually put my "2 weeks" in for the last day of the month, bought the tickets, then realized what day it was on, so I am quitting two days earlier to catch it. Stoked.

I'm going to the one in Oxford mostly because Grace Potter will be opening.

Wouldn't make a bit of difference for them on I-10 if they hit the interstate any time past 3pm. Baton Rouge drivers suck at life (especially in the left lane), and will not even move out of the way of an ambulance running code (I've seen it); Besides there's nowhere to go to get out of the way anyway... If they run that risk, they might be better off taking burbank to highland to I-10, but the traffic won't really open up until after P-Ville.

This is my fricking go to now that I don't live there anymore. Most of the time, when driving through now, I do this even if I don't see traffic ahead just in case. Well worth it IMO

If they play 8 venues at $20 a ticket to 800 people in each venue.. Holy shite..

That's a large paycheck for one days work.
