The 80s 4AD sound that included Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, Colourbox and Dead Can Dance?
The late 80s/90s 4AD sound that included Air Miami, the Pixies, the Breeders and Throwing Muses/Kristin Hersh?
How about the reinvented 4AD with the National, Grimes, beedeegee and St. Vincent?
I was an 80s 4AD kinda guy and even have Vaughn Oliver signed "All Virgos are Mad" artbook from 1992 exhibition in L.A.

I still have some of the old Cocteaus and X-Mal. Haven't listened to either in quite awhile tho.

i loved 4ad back in the day.
it has atlas sound, bon iver, iron and wine and tuneyards these days.

Is Bauhaus considered a 4AD artist even though they were on Beggars Banquet label? The 80's I guess. But I like artists from all periods...National and Tuneyards today.

Early 90s. Throwing Muses and the Pixies were awesome. But the Breeders.... huge fan.
