I got tickets to the Biloxi show, but I have a question. The tour is called “A Sonic Temple”. Does anyone know if they’re playing that album in its entirety or if it’s just coincidence. This will be my third time to see them, so it’s not a huge deal, but I hope they reach back for some “Love” and “Electric” stuff.

Likely means they will play Sonic Temple begging to end then likely sprinkle some favorites to finish / encore

They don’t play all of sonic temple. Most of the hits and a couple of others. They play some other popular sings and a couple of new ones.

Based on your username, I’m taking your word as gold.

I caught the last three Cult tours and one of them was devoted to Love and the other to Electric. The other was just a show from all albums, and of course that new LP they put out in ‘16 or so.

They should have stopped there because no one wants to hear that album in its entirety. There are four great tracks on that album and fillers. Hopefully they play it quickly and get in some of the hits.

And don’t get me wrong, Sun King to open that show will absolutely get everyone off to a good show.

My HS days were spent partly in Cult worship ... but I never really liked Sonic Temple and can only imagine it's more cringy now.

Now Electric -- that is a classic

It is a good show. Nothing as good as the Electric 13 tour but good mix. I am sure that after being rescheduled twice, there should be some pent up energy in them. They are good live. I will try and be there if the schedule allows.

Yeah Electric was great and Rick Rueben pushed them into an AC/DC direction. I still think the Peace album that was recorded as the Manor sessions could have done really well. Sounded much like LOVE.

I hope they don’t plan on doing a reunion for Ceremony and play that album live.

I wouldn’t call it an AC/DC direction as much as a hard rock direction. Love was much more a goth lean. The difference between this

and this

definitely shows you the Rubin influence, as you alluded to.

Electric was raw and it really showcased Billy Duffy's guitar work. I still get jumping every time I hear Love Removal Machine . I remember hearing it for the first time and it blew me away and I was already a fan from back in their Love days.

They were rock with malicious intent...the way it should be.

Imagine seeing them in this intimate setting. Astbury's voice has aged, but he has adapted and knows his limitations:

Cult- House of Strombo
