Vincent - James Blake
James Blake did a damn good cover of Vincent. That piano brings out the somber mood of the song.

John Fulbright - High Road
I love how his vocals swim and strain along with the acoustic, then the tender piano carries it out. He writes awesome songs (Jericho, Nowhere to be found)
Definitely with checking out if you don't know his work.

2. She Runs Away by Duncan Sheik (sparse and stripped down with gorgeous arrangement and mood-setting slide guitar. Shaking the DS haters because that ending...
I think I have maybe 2 Duncan Sheik songs in my collection and this is one of them. Always thought it was a good pop song (yes, they exist).

3. Here In The Western World by Steely Dan-this makes my top five Dan songs, it's kind of a forgotten gem. It taps into that specific 70's melancholy mood that just doesn't exist anymore. Impeccable. That guitar solo, those keyboards, those backing vocals, that phrasing, it just doesn't get better than this.
I was lucky enough to have seen this performed live. Technically it wasn't Steely Dan but rather a Donald Fagen show. However the rest of the band was Steely Dan minus Becker. Just a great, great song.
I'll check out the rest of your list. Chances are if you like these two, we have similar tastes.
