Since their or I guess he is headlining Shaky Knees and there's a ton of hype behind them figured I'd go down the psychedelic rabbit hole. Already listened a few, yall got any recommendations?

This is probably a minority opinion, but Currents is my favorite of theirs. Which is kind of odd because I usually lean towards guitars and Currents is definitely their least guitar based album. Let it Happen is one of the best album openers of the decade.

That opening is really good, my guess is there will be a heavy cloud of the good stuff that night

Currents is one of my go to albums for the long drives to Venice. So many good songs.

Very meh live.
Sadly, I thought the same, and I love their music. I was hoping that they were just having an off night.

Best live show going right now. If you have the chance to see them and don't, you're an idiot.

Innerspeaker>Currents>Lonerism would be my ranking of favorite albums, but listening from oldest to newest really highlights Kevin Parker’s progression. Their live performances are essentially flawless and that is extremely rare. There aren’t too many bands that you can review a full catalog and find only 1 or 2 weak tracks. Kevin Parker is a true musical genius and anyone who denies that is either misinformed or just stubborn due to their popularity.
Similar groups, like King G, struggle to translate the magic in the studio to live performances, but they are young so they’ve got time to grow out of the fuzzy reverb-garage rock schtick.
All that being said, the Aussie psych rock scene is on top of their game right now.
See you at Shaky Knees

Saw them at Red Rocks. They are good but not great live. Mac DeMarco opened and I enjoyed him just as much.

I saw them in '13 at Bonnaroo and enjoyed their show a lot, my gf saw them at the '17(?) Roo and said it was bad (but that was mainly due to the crowd talking during the set).
I'll be in ATL for Shaky Knees so we'll see! Currents is a solid album although I think "Lonerism" might be my favorite from them.
