So i checked them out on YouTube and they seem pretty interesting to me. Kinda like a Jane's addiction/ smashing pumpkins sound , well at least that is what popped in my head when trying to compare to something I've heard before way back when I was a little small sprout at Bama in the early 90s.
I could be way off base so fill me in on what you would call their sound/style

Psychedelic rock. I don't hear pumpkins or Janes addiction with any of their work...

Definitely pyschedelc to a degree but also reminds me of early 90 smack bands .
However comparing or calling a band this genrrations "Pink Floyd" is a fricking high compliment, so maybe I'll check them out a little more.

More Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction than post-Piper Pink Floyd

Let me know when they put something out on the scale of "Echoes"
I do enjoy them. Wish I would've made the show last night. Wanna party with Andre and Doodles.

Those bands had a different sound live vs studio.
More I listen the more I hear an acid induced rock Beatles (vocals very Lenonesque but with more vocal effects reverb and delays)
Interesting to say the least. Maybe they'll grow on me a little more. Some of their jams (Jeremy's storm) remind of some late 89s to early 90s WSP jams they did. I know a lot of y'all don't like WSP but they were a lot different when I started going to their shows (1st was at the Nick in Bham 89) in 89. Lot of great music back then when we would see WSP(200+), phish(25+), blues travelrs, Dave Mathews, Col Bruce & Aquarium Rescue, Allgood, at bars, frat houses, small venues and music fests. Throw in the Allmans, the Dead, little feat, Floyd, and REM and the Horde Festivals, etc at big venues and it was a lot of good times. I do and don't miss those party hard days. LOL

No need to be a dick. When I listened to the first few songs the vocals and sound kinda reminded me of those bands live sound. smashing pumpkins not so much at all now that I think about it more but it is was more about my perception that they are a trippy, physchedelic styles of rock reminiscent of those smack(heroin) bands like Jane's Addiction.

Did you ever see JA or SP live back in the late 80s early 90? Maybe I'm way off my memory could be tainted from the shrooms or beans/ scooby snacks/ excasty / Mollie or whatever its called nowadays. LOL

Wow, eerily similar to Lennon's vocals and has a Beattles cid days vibe.
Thanks for posting the link; I enjoy finding new music to listen to. I'm not in the music scene much at all anymore so I've lost touch on what's out there that's within my broad taste of music.

i've enjoyed their records, but seeing them live last night at Shakey Knees really made me appreciate the band. Fantastic performance.

Their sound varies especially with the new singles. Listen to "half full glass of wine" which sounds a lot like Cream to me.
