Love me some Tab....been a fan of his since early 90's...he used to drop in at Tabby's and at Raful Neal's place and jam.
Couple years ago saw him here in Houston at Fitgeralds..took girl there for our first date, figured she would be good if she liked the show. Tab played his version of "These Arms of Mine", we started dancing and had our first kiss to that song while Tab played...she is now my wife.

Put's on a great show. I have been listening to medicine quite a bit lately. "long lonely bayou" is a great track

I've never seen him live although I'd like to. Didn't start listening to his music until last year.

has to be a contender for best living Louisiana musician. He has created a particularly identifiable cajun inflected blues sound. Great guy on top of that. Puts in a lot of time working for wetlands restoration. Then he is one of the friendliest down to earth musicians I've ever run into. Just as a fan I've been able to talk to him for hours at venues.

I consider him an elder statesman of Louisiana music

Going to see him at Dosey Doe's in Houston. Has anybody ever been there?
