I know this has probably been posted a few times in this thread, but Her Town Too might be the GOAT adult contemporary song when I really think about it. I would put it number two behind LRB "Reminiscing."

Needed this. This just made me want to dig through my James Taylor collection. And I dont know much about JD Souther - what a beautiful voice and harmony in that song.

I'm always embarrassed when I look back at my drunk Sunday posts. But, it's such a sad song. And just the guys in the studio there capture the sounds of the time. Souther is an underrated talent who is a bit of an unofficial member of the Eagles that worked a lot with Henley and Frey. Until a few years ago I thought that was Carly Simon in the song with James. Souther sounds very feminine there.
Bobby Brown "Good Enough."
Van Halen "Feels So Good."

Eve 6- Here’s to the night
Reminiscing on the days before the virus...
Was on an out of town job in Geismar the night of the heisman, popped into a daiquiri shop to grab a drink and watch the ceremony. Ended up getting absolutely hammered and leaving with a cute/thicc latina. But my memory while i was signing my tab was this song coming on randomly at the bar at like 1:20 am and all the LSU fans singing along with lighters.

Let's make it Latin night. I don't really like Selena Gomez's songs, even though she seems like a cool chick. Or the original Selena for that matter (RIP). High school girlfriend put this on a mix tape for me, so we'll go with this.
Gloria Estefan "Anything For You."
And there was a time when you just could not get away from Secada on the radio for a while.
Jon Secada "Just Another Day."
