I've been to Red Rocks a bunch of times, but it's never had reserved seating available. That's interesting to me, and might actually be a good thing for a first timer.
One of the "draw backs" of Red Rocks is that the entire venue is general admission. So no assigned seating. Sounds like a good thing, but people are crazy about saving seats for their friends. "Seats taken"-Forest Gump

We must be going to completely different shows. I think I've only had GA tickets once or twice and that was because reserved had sold out.

I've been to Red Rocks twice, once for STS9, and once for Lettuce and friends. Both were GA.

Saw Humpries and Papadosio there last summer. Any band in that venue. Truth.

I don't think I've ever heard the drummer speak besides maybe at an EOTO show maybe.

Are you talking about Jason or Michael? Michael only has maybe three songs he sings. Jason usually does the rap covers.

Im extremely biased, Ive seen them 46 times, so I say hell yes do it. I just love how eclectic they are. If you like bluegrass go to the Sunday show. Im debating on going out or not, as I am already hitting them in Aspen coming up in April then down in new orleans in May.
