Dang, read your thread and looked on the FB. Says he’s retiring and everything is at rock bottom prices. Hate to hear that if true. But might check it out and see what I can get.
Unless I saw the same thing you did. His page doesn’t say it but a post does.

I called him to verify. He has been a longtime friend and a source of many of my music gear.
I first met Stan when he worked for another music store in the early 70s before he opened his own store.
He didn't say this but I think part of it may be attributed to internet sales where price matching is everything. It didnt matter he had a great repair shop, lessons, and lots of knowledge, and let you sit and try out instruments almost as long as you wanted.

Haven’t been there since I graduated from SELU a year ago. If they having a going out of business sale I need to go buy another Michael Kelly guitar. I love my Michael Kelly 53 series telecaster I bought from there!

No to either of those, although Stan did have an album collection once at this store.

I talked to Stan on the phone last week, he's retiring. Conduct business with fickle (and often broke) musicians for a few decades and you too will be more than willing to throw in the towel when you're able. HA!
