Spoon was amazing at Slossfest!

Best performance I saw at Sloss. I caught Sturgill too but Spoon was more to my taste.
They kicked arse. In a lightning storm! Great set!

They put on a great show at the Varsity (in Baton Rouge) back in April.

Sturgill fricking shredded, as did Herring. Spoon was great, as was Tycho. Charles Bradley was pretty fricking awesome too.
Maybe I was tripping too hard but I'm pretty sure Jimmy did Duane Allman's solo for 'Liz Reed and I almost died.

I liked Sturgill's last song more than anything. Really enjoyed K Flay too. Thought K's voice was better live than in studio.
Spoon playing "I aint the one" right before the storm came in Sat. was the high point for me.
I thought Phantogram was better at Buku a few years back but it may of been the indoor-outdoor venue difference.
Did anyone see Cherub?

BTW did anyone see "Pensicola Pete" dancing at the Spoon set (and others) old guy danced with his beer the entire set!
