Not bad. To me, he's certainly one of those guys who is much better to see live than listen to his albums but I gave this album a listen yesterday and really enjoyed it.

Its very good - much better than the last several he released. Some nice acoustic numbers, too.

I'll check it out. South of I-10 is a damn good album, but I've forgotten about him for a while.
Excellent video of him and Mark Knopfler, they have played on each other's albums. I think Knopfler wrote this one when in the states for South of I-10 in fact:

He came out and played with Gov't Mule on 5-2-2014 for Dreams.
One of the best songs and solos I have ever heard live. SL is so good. I'd say he is my top favorite slide player.
