Anyone watch last night? Was pretty cool all about the Chicago music scene. After watching and seeing what influenced their Chicago song really gives appreciation to it. Overall looks to be a cool little mini seires.

Pat is married and has a kid.

Highly doubt he would get married and have a kid if he was gay. He is a musician, not working in the white collar world.

This. My wife and I were there, pressed up against the wall right outside Preservation as they played. It was an incredible experience...

I just watched the recording... I loved the focus on Chicago for the punk element.. I think they did a great job in capturing what an a-hole Steve Albini is.. but in a kinda endearing way (never having to interact with him personally)

Highlighting Naked Raygun was awesome! And of course, Cheap Trick are legends...

I didn't know the Dave Grohl/Jason Narducy connection, so that was kinda cool...

The blues stuff was interesting, but not really my thing...

Blues stuff was my favorite part, but I'm a blues guy. I was hoping they would focus more on the songwriting/melody making part…i felt like that was really in the background. But I suppose the show is more about how music was born in each city. So that's cool too.

for the record, i absolutely hated the song that came out of the Chicago session... FFs are odd for me, I like Dave Grohl and the occasional song, but by and large I do not like their music..

this show is good, but the resulting disc will be bad, same as sound city. that new foo fighters single is atrocious.

new single is trash.

I did like the nirvana video of them all playing each others instruments for the heart shaped box music video

I liked how they played the song at the end with the lyrics.

Also, hoping they are going to be playing a show in each city after the episode like they did last week.

I'm going to be out of town when the Nashville episode airs, so it doesn't really matter either way
