The End, by The Doors

LINK

Oh, and like the other guy said, anything by Pink Floyd.

I haven't tripped in years and probably will never again.but if I did it would only be in a very select environments, such as on the beach with very close friends or at a Pink Floyd concert which will probably never happen again. Like I mentioned in another thread, Roger Waters is heading to NOLA but I'm sober these days and just can't see myself breaking sobriety to take acid. The last couple of times I did trip I was constantly on the edge of completely freaking out. I felt like I was dangling on the edge of the freak out cliff and was holding on so tight that it was hard to sit back and enjoy the view.

That's what my dad told me.

He actually got permanent hearing loss in one ear while sitting near a speaker at an ELP concert... likely on acid

Weed just bust my bubble of perception. I question everything I want to do. There is always two sides to things, and I can't tell which is the right one.
Like something simple like watching TV.

It goes like this- this looks good, no it doesn't, why do I even want tv, why am I watching TV, does the person next to me want to watch this, are they wondering why I'm changing the channel so much, this looks like a better channel, is the volume too loud, repeat. It makes me a giant indecisive pussy.

I also can't read people, so I have the same conversation about what they're thinking, they can mean this, they can mean that.

I used to love it before I had many responsibilities,

The entire Pink Floyd Meddle album is the greatest album for any hallucinogen.

I've brought this up on the OT before and everyone just chalks it up to me being paranoid due to being high but I know that's not the case.. I've smoked for years, why am I having this problem now?

Probably because the ultra potent weed being grown in legal states is making it into the market in illegal states. I know I smoked some Grape Ape, (which is a freaking indica) that came from Colorado, and I tripped out (not a full blown acid trip, but I was still tripping pretty good). And it wasn't a good trip out, it was a anxiety filled trip out. Now granted, I hadn't smoked in over a year before I smoked it. But I didn't think an indica would do that to me. I just chalked it up to the weed being much more potent that what I used to smoke.

And to the OP's question, back when I used to drop acid back in the day, I loved to listen to the doors. Something about Ray's organ playing and Robby's bottleneck & fingerstyle guitar playing would put me in a trance (although Morrison's lyrics were a little dark for me sometimes).

One hit of illegal weed from Louisiana is like smoking a whole joint from the 70s. 15x stronger. That grape ape weed is probably 30 times stronger.
