Songs that have been covered, but never should have

The thread on cover songs being better than originals got me to thinking about how there are some songs that people cover that just should have remained untouched. I'll go ahead and start with an obvious terrible cover:
Rolling Stones: Satisfaction
Covered by Britney Spears

Yea, they could have afforded not to do that song, maybe break some stuff instead.

Simple Man.
I cringe and get douche chills when I hear that stupid version.

Wilson pickett and Duane allman did a great cover of Hey Jude. I like it better than original. Either way, it was definitely worthy of a cover.

Grateful Dead played a handful of Beatles songs live, don't think they had any on an album though.
I don't care for many Dylan covers. It isn't that Dylan's voice or instrumental are so good they can't be out done; it is more that I think his songs are specific to his style and when people venture out from that it tends to suck. (I do not like the soundtrack to 'I'm Not There' except the Richie Havens song.)

I like when they do that, play like a 3 set show or do it at a festival like IT. I have a LivePhish 4(?) where they cover Lou Reed.
