I also would like to say I fricking love the frogstomp CD. Everything after that for them doesn't come close to that CD.

The bass line when Israel's Son starts up on track 1 is badass for any band, but just ridiculous when you consider their ages. And I agree that while the later albums had their moments, they were much more experimental and softer which isn't always my thing. I think Frogstomp is one of greatest pure modern rock albums of its era.

frickin Right they were.
They caught hell for sounding like Pearl Jam but how the hell is/was that a bad thing in 94?

the band has been quoted as being embarrassed by Tomorrow

but I think that's pretty common for bands who evolve a lot

Yea agree on the music. But just referring to his voice on Tomorrow. And obviously that's was like Sex On Fire to KOL in that their biggest hit was their least fave.

And chesty I'll come flick you in the nose ya punk.

tomorrow is one of my least favorite songs on that entire CD yet it was one of the most famous

I can workout to that CD all day long. Pure Massacre , Israel's son, shade, leave me out, etc. Suicidal dream is a little slow but that's aight

I wore out Israel's Son

reminds me of collecting CD's and spending the nights with friends trading and listening to their stuff

Turn the bass up high on that sometimes at my house on the speakers I have and it shakes the walls. It's a fantastic way to get me all jacked up

The bass lines in all the songs are where I hear the Tool influence, not so much in anything else. For instance the opening of Israel's son sounds like it could fit in on the Ænema album.
