Should I see the Stones for the right price if not a fan?

I'm not a fan of the Rolling Stones, but I like a couple songs, Sympathy for the Devil and Paint it Black, but the rest, I can take or leave. I ask this because I could have seen Sinatra in NOLA in the early 1990s before I was a huge fan and regret it. I wish I had seen others before they died but was not yet a fan. Should I go just for their historical importance to Rock music?

The other problem is the acoustics of the Superdome suck and I'm only willing to spend enough to get me in the Terrace.

I could buy my Saints season tickets seats, but they are way up there. What could it sound like, or should I not care?

I'm thinking if I go I'll bring my 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son to give them historical background on rock and roll.

Once in a life time opportunity for one of the greatest. Wish my parents did stuff like that for me. Even if you are casual music fans you have to catch the stones live on their last leg

Why would you go to a concert to see a band you don't really like?

A friend of mine, not really a Stones fan, wanted to catch them for the history of it. He went to the 1989 Farewell Tour.

I don't dislike them, just never got into them yet. I didn't get into Sinatra or Torme and other acts till after they stopped touring or died.

Plus, they are a very significant part of the history of Rock and Roll.

I used to hate the Stones. I was in middle school when Tatoo You came out in 1981 and something about them just turned me off so I tuned them out completely. About five years ago I started really listening to their early stuff and was blown away and became a huge fan. Truly one of the top 3 greatest bands of all time along with the Beatles and Zeppelin.

I had opportunities to see the Stones and Elton John in the 1980’s and I passed on both. Those are probably my biggest regrets musically.

Depending upon what you’re willing to spend, I think you could do better than terrace tomorrow. Ticket prices were plummeting like a rock Friday.
