And they didn't play 1968 either time.

Otherwise they were great last night. Finally got to see them with American aquarium. Hell of a duo

Really? Used to be a staple. I wonder if Ev's trying out some new songs instead.

Heard it was great. Management is trying to get LiveNation on board so that show was very important. I'm glad it went well.

They sounded awesome last night. Much better sound than the varsity show. And both bands played a few new songs if I remember correctly

There's a pic of the crowd on AA's FB page ... With a few familiar faces in the crowd.

Good show, great night.

they killed it at Chilifest Saturday

ETA: Also, The Damn Quails covered John Moreland, which was pretty cool.

Cody Canada & The Departed were direct support for the Stubb's show...the last encore was Cody, my Lil nugget Jonny Burke (former member of the Dedringers and the first opener) and TT singing "Boys from Oklahoma". And it was AWESOME.

I had originally planned to go to Chilifest but I was asked to work an event on Saturday so I did that instead. The line-up was awesome, though, and I heard they had a really good time.

Can't believe it took me so long to give this band a serious listen. I freaking love these guys. When I listen to their stuff it reminds me of reckless Kelly, RRB type stuff from 10 years ago that really got me into that genre.
