downloaded last night. liking what I hear so far. I was a fan of Jacksonville City Lights and this is a great double album

has some of my favorite ryan adams tunes. beautiful sorta, easy plateau, and the title track are pretty killer.

ive always that it was funny that, for a guy thats pretty much the alt-country edition of Bob Pollard, that i find a double album his most consistent and enjoyable.
i respect the fact that it seems like he squats out full albums after breakfast, but most of time i come away feeling hes better than what hes doing.

IMO magnolia mountain is his finest song. Sweet illusion ain't bad either.

Ryan Adams is one of the best songwriters of my generation IMO.
Another thing I love about him is that a lot of his song's guitar rifts are heavily influenced by Jerry, e.g. Cold Roses, Everybody Knows, Magnolia Mountain, Goodnight Rose, to name a few..

Have switched over to Kurt Vile. Pretty good.....ala dream syndicate stuff,
