I love Rush. Sure Geddy Lee’s voice isn’t “technically” good as a singer, but it’s unique, and I like it. He’s a great bassist nonetheless and everyone in the band is one of the best at their respective instrument. Why do I need to apologize for liking Rush? Oh wait, I fricking don’t.

Not only do I like all Rush's stuff, my favorite is the late 80's synth Rush.

*Shoots birds to all the haters*

That's right downvoters!!!!

Presto turned up to max vol.

Now it’s HOLD YOUR FIRE album!

Tough times,
demand tough talk
demand tough hearts
demand tough songs

While I don't like Big Money overall, there are parts that are just awesome.

Subdivisions (early 80's synth) is probably my favorite Rush song.

Rush is the epitome of accessible progressive rock and a musical approach that endures for 4 decades or more, great guys, great talent, great content the total package for a band context

Signals is such an underrated album. It suffered from production and engineering issues and the sound is to thick and muddled. Had they recorded it like they did Moving Pictures, it would have been an all-timer. The songs are excellent. Even Countdown. I like the synths and the way they were using them at that time.

That band got lost in the 90's. They were really out of place at that time and it really seemed like they were going through the motions. Sad it took a tragedy to get them going again.

I'm not totally onboard their synth-y period, but I do like Signals and Power Windows alot more as I've gotten older.

Alot of Rush fans shite on it, but I like Test For Echo. Not a top 5 Rush release or anything like that, but a solid arse-kicking album, "Dog Years" lyrics notwithstanding, lol...

Not a fan of TFE at all. Drums are horrible and the songs are just blah. "Virtuality" makes "Dog Years" seem like a work of art. It is the most embarrassing song they ever wrote.
