The band's reps are denying those reports... Interesting to see how it shakes out... I think it's time to hang it up after 50 years...
Much Respect...

They should go out on their own terms.

The Greatest Rock n Roll Band of all time. They are the standard by which all bands should be judged. Sure, their later output isn’t that memorable, but their peak output is unimpeachable. Just a great band who I’m real happy I got to see at least once.

They will now have 5-6 years worth of farewell tours
Glad I got to see them a couple of times.

Absolutely. There will never be another group that can do what The Stones did in their prime years, especially given today's musical climate and the pressure put on bands to stick to a certain "sound."
At their peak, The Stones were rock, blues, alt country, psychedelic...you name it. Far from a one trick pony.

Unreal that they have been doing it this long with basically 3 of its originally members (Watts joined within a year of the band's formation). One of my top 5 favorite bands of all time.

I think they should call it quits... they are way past it...
They are depressing to see live now...
and yes, they are arguably the best ever... none of their songs get old to me.

Plus, Jagger always said he'd rather be dead than playing "Satisfaction" at 75.
