Im glad i didnt shell out $60 for this show. I love anders and luthers probably my favorite guitarist alive, but the videos of these shows have been uninspiring to me. Its the four of them taking turns playing solo acoustic songs with maybe jj playing some harmonica on it. I'd much rather see anders and luther shred on electric guitars. All that being said, im still jealous that im missing seeing this show and hope you have a great time

I watched some of the set posted

Seems like a fun thing during the middle of the day at a Fest, not a night theater show

Agreed. I would have been HOT if I paid that much, got there and it was all one on one acoustic.

Why aren't these dudes all ripping the axes?

I get best of both worlds on Saturday night at T Bois. Southern Soul Assembly at 6:30, then Anders band at 10:40. I'm sure they will all be siting in and rocking with Anders Band as well. This will all probably be in the rain, but still kick arse.

It is a change of pace tour

They should have done one acoustic set and one electric set

Well we were pleasantly surprised. It was a really good show. Got to meet Luther after the show on third street. He is very talented. Anders was great. Marc Broussard was very good. Jj grey was meh.

Interesting. I saw JJ Grey and Mofro a few weeks ago .. rocking good show; maybe he does better with backup.

Jj is a little contrived if you ask me. Not really a songwriter. A good performer.
