Not to mention all his anti-Semitic BDS crap.

I’m pretty sure this tour was planned for 2020 before the election hence the “this is not a drill”. His past tours were always filled with political stuff. I saw him back in 2008 and he released a giant inflatable sheep when he played Sheep with all kinds of anti Bush/Cheney pro Obama stuff.

I’ve seen him 5 times including that show where he played Dark Side all the way through, twice doing The Wall in 2010-11 and 2017. I’ll pass on this go round but he’s not coming to Houston anyway

I absolutely loved the show, the images to me are the best part (the non political ones). I love the pigs marching and shite like that

Are you sure? Not saying you're wrong, I just don't see Roger being "pro" any president.

I saw him a few weeks ago for my 3rd time. This one was a bit tamer on the president bashing than when I saw him in '17, but of course with trump not in office a lot of his material went away. As another poster mentioned, there was a section criticizing all presdients, including biden with the footnote "just getting started..."

Roger is someone who would never or will never like any american president ever, period. That's just who he is.

Well he wasn’t the President yet it was before the election but I’m pretty sure it had the word Obama on the pig with the anti-Bush and Cheney as Dracula images. A lot of hard core leftists were pretty excited about Obama before the reality of actually being POTUS sets in.

Biden has been around a long time, he voted for a lot stuff like the Iraq War, “Drug War” laws etc. so not surprising he’s ripping him as well,

I'm assuming he's asking about backing tracks and/or theatrics.

I guess I don't know how to answer then either ha. Roger did almost all the singing, his backup folks played all the instruments. There's a shite ton of imagery and lasers and lights and stuff ont eh screen which is typical of a waters show. Granted I'm a musical dullard so pershaps some things went right over my head but there wasn't any point where I thought we were getting milli vanilli-d and felt ripped off that we weren't hearing real live instructments and voca;ls.

No encores.

It's a gilmour song IMO. The solo is what makes everything. And that wasn't Roger.

speaking of..

During WYWH they showed a montage on screen from the 60s mostly of Syd hanging out with the rest of the band.

Every.Single.Picture was JUST of a combo of Syd/Roger/Nick/Rick. Not a picture of gilmour anywhere. Now, I fully realize that Dave was coming in as Syd was going out, so it's logical to think that lots of pictures of Syd WOULD be pre-dave. However, there are surely countless pictures with all of them, or at least some that happened to contain both syd and dave at the same time. It just seemed deliberate and very intentional to purposely not include gilmour anywhere.

Who knows? I mean they have performed together in the last decade. They just don't get along very well. Roger can be quite difficult to deal with I imagine.

Wish I could see Gilmore under the pink Floyd name but I don't think that will ever happen again.

Are there? I have no idea, but it would surprise me that there would be countless pictures of Gilmour and Syd together. Gilmour essentially replaced Syd, and I'm sure Syd wasn't super happy about that.

a google search just turned up several that are readily available, and there are who knows how many other pictures belonging to Floyd members that contain it as well.

And again I know there was very little overlap betweent eh 2 in the band, but surely there are pictures of the whole gang just hanging out or jamming or just doing whatever.

Ultimatley not a big deal at all, it's Roger's show and he can do whatever TF he wants. It just seemed very obvious to me in the crowd that it was very intentional to exclude gilmour from any part of the show at all
