Which one of you baws was in floor section D rows 11-12 checking knuckles during comfortably numb. Thought there was about to be a good fight for a second there.

Also everyone in floor D give themselves a pat on the back of fighting the oppression and turning that into a standing show

I was going to go but once I heard about the anti Trump shite I backed out. I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan but I don't want to be subjected to anymore liberal bull shite than I already am and I definitely don't want to pay to be subjected to it.

I think you did yourself a disservice if you are a huge PF fan - it was a great concert the first set had minimal, if any, of that shite. And it was really just images on a screen int the second set - I was not really sure about why everyone got so mad about honestly.

That's your choice, but it was seriously not that hard to block out. The trump shite went on for 30 minutes at most (pigs + money + us and them). And it was literally just silly pictures of him and some ridiculous quotes he's made. Roger wasn't up there with a 10 foot long dildo fricking a trump blow up doll over the corpse of an aborted baby. He didn't even make any comments on trump aside from the imagery.

Just sucks you missed an amazing experience because you can't tolerate someone else's opinions for 30 minutes.

This is a picture I took, and about sums up the extent of his anti trump imagery.

It was hypocritical and overly political at times, but if you didn't know that going in you weren't paying attention. The music and effects were amazing.

Well I've fricking had enough of the liberal agenda being force fed down my throat in today's world. Maybe if the whining and crying wasn't constant I could have tolerated it for a short while and blocked it out.

Slow your roll, Sally. Those of us in Floor C did our job, too. Well, when Roger wasn't doing the new stuff, that is.

We took a rest then.

Yeah no shite.

"Snowflakes" indeed.

I enjoyed the Trump bashing, richly deserved. Buddy of mine wasn't pissed at that, but the (as he perceived it) shots at the American military.

As much as I loathe Trump, though, even I thought the presentation was a bit over the top. But I won't lose any sleep over Trump being skewered.

that doesn't "about sum up the extent of the anti-Trump imagery" but okay

Did the political stuff ruin concert for me? Absolutely not. But it was unnecessary and poorly done.

And for people saying "you should have known his politics", screw you. I couldn't have predicted that. I listen to the man's music and I know he wasn't thinking about Trump when he wrote Money.

But I bet these same baws would have had their dicks out at a Nugent concert the second he made some Obama comments.

I didn't mean it to sound like that was the only trump ragging he did for the night, what I meant is that it was just different iterations of similar images during his second set and that I didn't see anything much more offensive than that. Maybe trumps head on a baby's body

But I will concede I was right against the screens so I didnt have the best view to take it all in. Maybe others saw something I missed. Either way, I thought that picture was about the baseline for his anti-trump period.

Yeah, sorry, I see that. Well I give you credit then, if you knew the political message would piss you off, then it made sense not to go. However, anyone who goes to a Roger Waters' show and doesn't expect to hear and see what they saw is a little silly.

I mean and it is a Pink Floydish / Roger Watersish show - who is arguably best known for the wall. His music is about fighting against control and oppression and so having an "oppressor" made it more interesting to me at lease - i think i already said this, but its kind of like the caricature of Trump played a small part in his show.

no point in discussing it more i suppose but i enjoyed the hell out of that concert. DSOTM Pyramid and then the upside down prism of light was amazing

The 20inch dildo superimposed in his hand, the Klan hood and the Hitler thing was childish. I didn't care about his head on a pig's body or baby's body.

So, we demand maturity and appropriate conduct from our 70 year old rock stars, but not from the 70 year old leader of the free world?
