What a bunch of self righteous rambling nonsense that was to read.

Waters was a brilliant lyricist. But he is also a complete and total jackass. I have no idea why anyone would want to see him in a solo concert.

Because it's an awesome concert? Just got back from Atlanta, and I'm contemplating seeing him again in Greensboro. Fantastic stage show, and the Animals songs made it a dream setlist. Visually, it was impressive but low-key in the first set...but when the second set started, holy hell was it something else...

There is no bigger Floyd fan than me. I love what Rogers did musically with the band and his time was essential for the success of Floyd during the time he was there. But his anti-establishment and constant rebellious bullshite has always made me hate him personally

His voice has been bad for so long, I just dont enjoy listening to him anymore. I saw him in Atlanta years ago when he was decent in concert. I prefer seeing David Gilmour by far.... His lyrics and of course his musical skills make him a better see.

To be honest, Id rather see Brit Floyd than Roger.

frick you Roger for never growing up.

Yeah I guess dude, but those songs are not the same without Gilmour. Water's was the brain. Gilmour was the heart and soul.

I'd say he's grown up a little. Last night, he was high-fiving and fist bumping the fans up front, and even walked into the crowd to shake hands...in 1977, he might've spit into the audience, lol...

And about the merchandise: there was ONE type of shirt that was $75, all the rest were $40-45, which is par for the course with just about any concert I go to. I guess fake news exists on this thread, too. If all the shirts were $75 in NOLA, take it up with the venue, because you got yourselves hosed.

Pigs is all Waters on vocals. Dogs is mostly Gilmour and some Rogers.

Ya that show was awesome, sure his vocals were rough in a couple patches - doesn't ruin anything because they were just fine for most of the show. The girls singing Great Gig was breathtaking (and you rarely see backup singers get the biggest ovation from the crowd). Not to mention the theatrics and production.

If you liked those girls, Lucius is an awesome band.

To everyone who says they'd rather see Gilmour live, here's the setlist for his upcoming release from Pompeii:

“5 A.M.”
“Rattle That Lock”
“Faces of Stone”
“What Do You Want From Me”
“The Blue”
“The Great Gig in the Sky”
“A Boat Lies Waiting”
“Wish You Were Here”
“Money”
“In Any Tongue”
“High Hopes”
“One of These Days”
“Shine On You Crazy Diamond”
“Fat Old Sun”
“Coming Back to Life”
“On An Island”
“Today”
“Sorrow”
“Run Like Hell”
“Time / Breathe (In The Air)” (reprise)
“Comfortably Numb”

Hmmmm, I don't know. I think I'd be fidgeting in my seat for 50% of that set. Yeah, I'll probably still buy it for the songs I do want to hear, but I'm way more interested in getting Waters' eventual live release, whenever that is....

New Radiohead fan checking in here. And I know like 2 of their songs, Creep and something else I guess.

Anyway, once RW fails to burn them at the stake, they will be more popular than whatever they may have been before.

RW can go hang out with Rage and Green Day at their mansions paid for by good old western style Capitalism while echoing about how unfair the world is to the "little" people and espouse their communist views!

I get it and thankfully many others are waking up to it too.

Don't think so. Few if any fans will be gained because they played Israel. Most don't give a shite about Israel one way or another.
