Apparently there was a close contact in another venue so I guess they canceled this show for quarantine and contact tracing reasons.

Allegedly, Rise Against demanded the venue require proof of vaccination or a negative covid test. Since there was not enough time to implement that requirement, the venue canceled on them.

Yep. I would gladly show my proof of vaccination, but I can understand how a major corporate venue would not be able to agree to that. On a side note Tim posted “Nola we owe you a show thank you for understanding” whatever that means.

The issue is these venues would have to pay for a lot of extra staff and the vaccine stuff was not in the contract

Descendents just put out a statement essentially confirming vaccine/COVID test requirement.

I got in touch with Fillmore and they said Down is still on. Now, of course, it's 48 hours away so we'll see what happens.
