I have to confess, I just learned from that article that Kevin DuBrow died in 2007.

I had no idea he was dead.

A bit off topic, but have you ever watched the show Botched? It’s basically plastic surgeons who fix the mistakes of previous procedures. Anyway, Kevin’s brother Terry is actually the featured plastic surgeon on the show.

Same cancer got my uncle. There's no way you get to stage 4 undiagnosed unless you ignored some serious warning signs from your body.

Pancreatic cancer is frequently diagnosed at a late stage because it does not produce symptoms until the tumor has gradually enlarged enough to occlude the bile duct and patient develops the classic “painless jaundice”.

Sorry to hear of his passing.

I saw Quiet Riot on their first headlining tour in January of 1984 along with Girlschool and Saga. Metal Health was on top of the charts and they were enjoying their newfound success. They only played about 70 minutes that night but they were good. I do remember being quite impressed with Saga.

RIP

Did anyone see Quiet Riot at the Caterie, circa 1997?

I was there! Around that time, I also caught Ratt at the Texas Club.

Pretty cool times!

Nice. I remember seeing David Lee Roth at the Texas Club in 1994 too.

I was still in Houma at that time, but I did see him at the Abyss! That was pretty cool.
