I don't know if maybe I'm just getting older or what, but I haven't really cared one iota about RHCP since stadium arcadium. I tried to give I'm with You a chance but it just doenst' really feel the same.

I'm a much bigger Frusciante fan than you are, so I feel extremely confident saying that this comment is stupid.

The first 2 songs they released were actually solid songs. They actually kind of deviated from the RHCP sound, which grew extremely stale. This song is basically back to the old formula. Tony's cheesy vocals are way too forward here.

I find it amazing that 7 years later people are still mad about John leaving.

And those people probably haven't heard 5% of the music he has released since.

Agree, and not to hijack, but I think Letur Lefru is some of his best work. It's one of the best EP's I've ever heard and I wish it were longer.

Absolutely. I know a lot of his fans don't like his going electronic, but I enjoy the hell out of it. I can even dig the Black Knights albums that he produced (wrote the music for).

Ridiculous that U2 and Coldplay get hated on while a one trick band like RHCP (who I like very much but seriously) gets such a pass.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers shouldn't even by mentioned in the same breath as U2. They couldn't hold U2's jock. I've never liked them. A bunch of screeching with stupid lyrics. That's about the best thing I could ever say for RHCP's.

Well that's your opinion man. I disagree. U2 is a huge band, but they've been irrelevant in creating new music since the early 90s. And Bono is such a douche.

So is Anthony, to be fair.

I think Dark Necessities was good, but I haven't been too impressed with the album so far.
