I like surf rock when I study. The lack of vocals makes it much easier for me to concentrate. I get distracted by vocals and I end up singing along out loud or in my head.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones or some classic. Chopin is a good suggestion. I liked Beethoven on occasion. One of my friends liked Bob Marley.
The key is to find something relaxed that you know really well. That way you can ignore it enough to concentrate on studying while being affected by the emotional undertones of the music. If the music is too new to you then you might find yourself listening to the music instead of studying.

Dave Brubeck Pandora station + THIS
(need to adjust the volumes of both to where the music is playing barely louder than the rain...get the perfect balance and it's awesome)
also, any light rock/alternative music + Coffitivity is awesome too

Bach Cello Suites by Yo Yo Ma. Carried me all the way through law school when I really needed to get to it.
