The best and almost only way to way to listen to Steely Dan is on vinyl.

So a must have on vinyl for me tends to be pre-82 and leans towards greatest hits albums and only because of nostalgia.

in no particular order

Steely Dan - Greatest Hits (so downvote me for saying a hits album over Aja but it's a great listening album)
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Doobie Brothers - Greatest Hits
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Al Green - Greatest Hits or I'm still in love with you
Led Zeppelin III - Not a huge Zep fan except this one on vinyl. I can remember the turning the dial on the cover with this one.
Climax Blues Band - Rich Man or 20 greatest Hits
Flamin Groovies - Teenage Head
ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
Taj Mahal - Natch'l Blues
