I completely disagree but to each his own. Theres not a single bonez song ild pick over any tribe song. But then again, i dont consider bonez real hip hop anyway.
It's all "real" hip hop. These so called "True hip hop heads" always jump to dislike whatever is getting radio play and label it not being real hip hop. The problem with that way of thinking is that they are actually taking away what makes hip hop so great. Hip Hop music can be whatever it likes and when ever it wants.
The music can be slow, fast, hard, soft, melodic, or loud. You can blend it with rock, jazz, techno, R&B, and classic soul. You can laugh, dance, cry, or whatever too it.
No other music genre can offer all of that in one package.

i always considered bonez more r&b than hip hop. i guess thats more of a personal bias since i dont really enjoy their "slow jamz."

If you from the tri-state area, I would assume you a mighty Mos fan? Or is Brooklyn a curse word for you.Haha
I'm waiting for the release of the new Black Star album. Black Star playing in NOLA in a few weeks. Sadly, I can't make it. I've seen Mos & Talib several times, but never as Black Star.
